South Main

The client tasked Daniels + Chandler with conducting a design study for new hotel concept on the historic South Main Street in Memphis, TN. This 1915 structure was previously home to the Ambassador Hotel and the new concept would host a local restaurant on the lower level as well as approximately 20 hotel room suites. The goal was to breath new life into this poorly maintained building by bringing the marquee sign back to its former glory and reimagining the ghost sign by enlisting a local artist to create a full building mural.
